Dr. Satendra Singh is the Assistant Professor of Physiology at University College of Medical Sciences, Dilshad Garden, Delhi. He is currently involved in planning, organizing and conducting workshops for empowering faculty, senior residents, pool officers, PhD’s, postgraduates’ and undergraduate students in UCMS.

He is the Coordinator of Enabling Unit, Equal Opportunity Cell in UCMS, first such unit in a medical college in India catering for the needs of medical students with disability. He is also the Coordinator of Infinite Ability, a special-interest-group of Medical Humanities Group which provides a platform for exploring disability through creativity and the Chairperson of Equality and Diversity Committee, for persons with disabilities.

He has been awarded with NCPEDP-MphasiS Universal Design Award 2013 for disability initiatives by Minister of State, MSJE on 14 Aug 2013 at India International Centre, Delhi.
