Dr. Sandeep Patwardhan is presently, working as P G Teacher & Professor, Orthopaedics and Paediatric Orthopaedic Specialist in Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation. He has teaching career spanning 18 years and has held positions like Post Graduate Teacher for M.S.Orthopaedics  at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Hon. Visiting Paediatric Orthopaedic Specialist at Bharti Vidyapeeth Hospital, among others.

He is associated with Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India, Children’ Orthopaedic Research & Education Group, Bombay Orthopaedic Society, Poona Orthopaedic Society, Indian Orthopaedic Association as a life member and was also the Secretary of Pune Orthopaedic Association. He is also the editor of the Online Journal Of Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association.

He been to more than 25 conferences and has been a part of various CME’s on External Fixators, Computer aided surgery, PLIF PLATES SCREWS, Joint Replacement Surgery, Bone Banking  since 1996. He was also the table instructor for Sion Hospital.

He has published nine paper sin reputed national journals and presented over 20 papers at various conferences.

As a socially responsible citizen, he has organised free orthopaedic camps and paediatric surgeries all over the state of Maharashtra and has been awarded the Outstanding Vocational Service Award in Orthopaedic Surgery.
