Dr. David V. Rajan is an exclusive arthroscopy surgeon and was one of the earliest surgeons to promote the specialty of arthroscopy in India. He is the founder of Ortho One Orthopaedic Specialty Centre, Coimbatore. Apart from arthroscopic surgery, he is actively involved in the care of sportspersons.

He has more than 35 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedics. He was graduated from Christian Medical College, Vellore and obtained his degrees in Orthopaedics from Madras Medical College and Madras University, Chennai.

He is currently the President of Sports Medicine Association of Tamil Nadu, India, Hon. Member Arthroscopy association of North America, Adjunct Professor of Orthopaedics, MGR Medical University and International Affiliate member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He was also the Past President of Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroscopy Society, Sports Medicine Association of Tamil Nadu and Shoulder Society of India. He also served as the Vice President of the Indo - German Orthopaedic Foundation and has been awarded honorary membership in the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He was also the Deputy Chairperson Communication / educational committee – ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine).
